To process, analyze, and understand.
And for a while… that works.
But if the nervous system is still bracing for survival, nothing actually sticks.
Because transformation doesn’t start in the mind.
It starts in the body.
You can understand your patterns.
Trace them back.
Say all the right things.
But no amount of processing will land
if your nervous system is still bracing for survival.
Your body is still trying to protect you.
And until that shifts… the pattern stays.
Let's just say it...
Some spaces push for intensity.
Breathe harder. Go deeper. Break through.
And sure… that can create a moment.
But when the nervous system gets overwhelmed,
it doesn’t create change.
It reinforces survival.
We don’t push past the body’s capacity. We work with it.
We pace what’s unfolding.
We stay with what’s ready.
We build capacity over time.
Because the goal isn’t the biggest release in the room.
It’s what your system can actually hold after.

A lot of people are already holding space.
But most were never trained how to do it safely.
So they rely on intensity.
On scripts.
On pushing for breakthroughs.
And sometimes… that does more harm than good.
We change that.
This is what responsible facilitation looks like.
Here's the truth...
When you stop overriding your own nervous system,
you become the anchor in the space.
Steady.
Present.
Able to hold what’s there without needing to change it.
Your capacity expands.
Your presence deepens.
And in that… others begin to feel it.
Because a regulated facilitator doesn’t push the process.
They create the conditions for it.
And when you stop overriding yourself, you stop doing it to others.
And that’s where everything begins to shift.

Somatic Breathwork Facilitator, Teacher, and Founder of Ritual Breathwork.
For a long time, I thought I hated breathwork.
Turns out, I didn’t hate breathwork.
I hated being pushed past my edge in spaces that didn’t feel safe.
So I started studying the breath and its relationship to the nervous system.
And what I discovered is this:
You don’t need a big, dramatic release
to shift what’s been living in your body.
You need safety.
And a way to work with your system without blasting yourself out of it.
That’s why I created Ritual Breathwork.
A method rooted in nervous system science, grounded in safety,
and designed for real-world facilitation.
