''I learned we have the capacity to change from the observer into the director role and shape life the way we envision it.''
-Catherine LeBlanc
Catherine is a certified Advanced Kambo Practitioner through the International Association of Kambo Practitioners (IAKP), with additional training as a Reiki Master, Mayan Womb Massage Practitioner, Meditation Instructor, Trauma Specialist, and Breathwork Practitioner. She also brings a foundational background in Traditional Chinese Medicine.
Her journey with Kambo began as a personal healing practice and evolved into a deep calling to serve. Trained under IAKP founder Karen Uma Kanya Darke, Catherine’s approach blends Indigenous wisdom with modern therapeutic tools, integrating meridians, chakras, Marma Points, and auricular therapy.
Known for her grounded presence and intuitive care, Catherine creates a sacred, supportive space for transformation. Whether in private sessions or ceremonial circles, she gently guides others in releasing what no longer serves and reconnecting with their highest vitality.
Kambo is a sacred and powerful detoxification ritual rooted in the healing traditions of the Amazon. Sourced from the secretion of the Phyllomedusa bicolor frog, this ancient medicine is revered for its potent purgative effects—physically cleansing the body, energetically clearing stagnation, and awakening deep layers of emotional and spiritual resilience.
At Ritual Wellness, we honor Kambo as a sacred ally—an intelligent force of nature that meets you exactly where you are. It works in synergy with your body’s innate wisdom, helping to release what no longer serves and reconnect you with your most vital, vibrant self.
Like our breathwork journeys, Kambo is not about fixing. It is a full-body initiation—an invitation to remember. Through the body, the breath, and the wisdom of the Earth, we return home to our wholeness, intention, and truth.
Kambo is a powerful medicine that must always be administered by a properly trained and experienced practitioner. Though the experience is intense, it is also fast-acting—typically lasting between 10 to 60 minutes.
During the ceremony, small points—called "gates"—are applied to the surface of the skin. These entry points allow the medicine, prepared from the dried secretion of the Phyllomedusa bicolor frog, to enter the lymphatic system and begin its work almost immediately. You may feel heat, a quickened heart rate, or sensations of pressure or tingling as Kambo moves through your body, intuitively seeking out blockages and imbalances.
Each person's experience is unique. You may feel light-headed, foggy, or emotionally stirred. Kambo is not psychoactive, but many participants report receiving insights, clarity, or a renewed commitment to living in alignment. A physical purge—often through vomiting or sweating—is common and seen as a sacred release of what the body is ready to let go of.
For first-time participants, we begin with a gentle test point to ensure a safe and supportive introduction to the medicine. This allows your body to open to Kambo at your own pace, with care and intention.
